THE MOST STRENUOUS MOUNTAIN HIKE CHALLENGE OF WALES IN 24 HOURS
The Welsh 3000s is a challenge hike in Wales, United Kingdom, that involves climbing all 15 of the mountains in Wales that are over 3,000 feet (914 meters) in height. The route covers a total distance of about 26 miles (42 kilometers) and includes a total of around 11,000 feet (3,353 meters) of ascent. The challenge is to summit all peaks in 24 h.  Take on this challenge and fundraise for the British Heart Foundation with hashtag #welsh3000s

REQUIREMENTS AND EQUIPMENT
Hiking: Hiking poles, hiking boots, long pants, windproof jacket, fleece jacket, hat, rucksack, walking socks, sunglasses, gloves, camel bag, water bottle, compass, whistle, emergency blanket
Sleeping: Tent, sleeping bag, sleeping mat  
Food and drinks: Lots of water, salty and sweet snacks
Money: £30 in cash (bills and coins)
NOTE
Please note that this itinerary is just a guide and that the exact route and schedule can vary depending on weather conditions, hikers' experience, and fitness levels. The Welsh 3000s can be a demanding hike, requiring appropriate fitness levels and mountaineering skills and equipment. The weather in the mountain is extremely unpredictable, and the routes can be challenging with steep and rocky terrain, it’s important to be well-prepared and equipped, and have at least some knowledge of safety practices and emergency procedures.
